Job Description

This role involves providing support for students with SEN, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, physical disabilities, and more. As a supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work in a variety of school environments to support the needs of both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with personal care and physical needs where required.
  • Promote inclusion and positive behaviour management in the classroom.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN-related qualifications).
  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to undertake one).
