We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as the UK Head of Workplace Strategist at Arcadis Architecture & Urbanism Division. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and innovation in our Workplace offer across the UK and Europe, working with local and global clients.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading architecture practice and make a significant impact on the future of workplace design. As the UK Head of Workplace Strategist, you will be responsible for developing workplace strategies for clients and leading the charge in shaping the future of workplace design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Business Development: Establish a robust project pipeline and generate revenue to support ambitious growth to £5m per annum revenue.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key clients at a senior level, delivering bespoke design solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Build and Lead a Team: Build the team of workplace strategists and designers and provide strategic guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery while upholding high design standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, interior design, or other relevant design-related field.
  • A seasoned leader with a proven track record in client relationship management at a senior level, possessing a client network aligned with the Arcadis strategy.
  • Experienced at working with other internal experts to shape multi-disciplinary solutions for clients, with a passion for driving innovation through creative workplace strategies, coupled with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in senior leadership roles within the design industry, with a focus on workplace design.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to inspire and influence stakeholders.
  • Delivered success in innovation, creativity, and pushing the boundaries of traditional workplace design with a key focus on delivering sustainable outcomes for clients.
