Job Title: Medical Nursing Team Lead

Location: East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust

We are seeking an experienced Medical Nursing Team Lead to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing leadership and guidance to our medical nurses.

About the Role:

  • Proven experience in medical nursing with a strong focus on leadership and teamwork
  • Experience of delivering evidence-based practice and contributing to the development of nursing policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of medical nurses to deliver high-quality patient care

Responsibilities:

  • To provide leadership and guidance to medical nurses on the ward
  • To support the ward manager in the general management of the ward, including completing appraisals, 1-1s, and other management tasks
  • To develop and implement effective strategies for improving patient care and outcomes
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways

Requirements:

  • RN registration with NMC
  • Experience of working in a similar role or equivalent experience in medical nursing
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Salary: £38,890 - £44,041 per annum (dependent on experience)
