Salary and BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary up to £43,000 per annum, as well as an excellent package of benefits including a fully expensed company car and fuel card or car allowance of £4,877.50 per annum plus mileage, NMC fee reimbursement, contributory pension scheme, death in service (4 x salary), annual holiday – 33 days inclusive of bank holidays with option to buy 5 more, mobile phone and tablet device, weekend and evening enhancements – 30% / 60%, and support with revalidation.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse to work in the Milton Keynes catchment area, delivering care to patients in the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for seeing patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV/Oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and more.
Requirements- RGN with active NMC PIN
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience of community based work is desirable but not essential
- Experience within the acute setting and competent in the administration of chemotherapy, cytotoxic drugs, cannulation and clinical assessments
- SACT Passport desirable but not essential
The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with experience in administering chemotherapy and cytotoxic drugs, as well as conducting clinical assessments. They will be able to work independently in the community, while remaining part of a wider nursing team.
