Hays Healthcare are working alongside an Integrated Urgent Care provider in Milton Keynes to build a team of Nurse and Paramedic Practitioners for telephone triage work.
Quick Overview of this Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner role
- Working as an Advanced Practitioner, taking cases referred from the 111 service requiring input from a specialist clinician
- Providing enhanced clinical assessment and diagnosis via telephone triage from a call centre location

What you will need to succeed as a Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner
- Relevant Minor Injury/Minor Illness qualifications, along with a current NMC or HCPC registration
- Advanced physical assessment qualification desirable but not essential
- Significant post registration experience where autonomous working at a senior clinical level been acquired
- Experience within telephone triage, primary, urgent, or emergency care
- A broad knowledge of procedures and interventions which require advanced levels of knowledge and skills
- To commit to a 2-day training course followed by 3 coaching shifts (the coaching shifts will need to be within a 7-day period), followed by a minimum of 15 hours per week.
