Primary Care Advanced Practitioner Job Opportunity

We are excited to announce a new job opening for a Primary Care Advanced Practitioner at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a highly skilled nurse practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our busy primary care settings.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients, including those with complex needs. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in mental health advanced practice nursing, as well as contribute to the development of our team's services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in prescribing and medication management. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an audit lead, effectively utilising the audit cycle and developing the health champion role.
  • Monitor and ensure the safe storage, rotation and disposal of medicaments.
  • Participate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care.
  • Support and participate in shared learning within the practice.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
  • Postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing or a related field.
  • Experience in prescribing and medication management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits and Salary

This role offers a competitive salary range of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to ongoing education and training opportunities, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
