Regulatory Affairs Specialist

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is responsible for regulating the nursing and midwifery professions across the UK. Our core role is to promote high education and professional standards for nurses and midwives, maintain the register of professionals eligible to practise, and investigate concerns about nurses, midwives and nursing associates.
We believe in giving professionals the chance to address concerns, but we always take action when needed. To regulate well, we support our professions and the public by creating resources and guidance that are useful throughout their careers. We also support people involved in our investigations, and increase our visibility so people feel engaged and empowered to shape our work.
Our Values:
- Regulating and supporting our professions allows us to influence health and social care
- We share intelligence from our regulatory activities and work with partners to support workforce planning and sector-wide decision making
- We use our voice to speak up for a healthy and inclusive working environment for our professions
How to Apply: If you are a qualified lawyer with experience of providing consistently accurate and appropriate legal advice, please submit your application. We encourage you to complete your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
