Responsibilities
  • Safely drive and deliver goods to customers across various locations, utilizing effective route planning and time management skills.
  • Load and unload goods with care, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Follow established delivery routes and time schedules accurately, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
  • Maintain delivery vehicles in good working condition, performing routine checks and maintenance as required.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery times, address any issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Accurately complete delivery records and paperwork, meeting company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
Requirements
  • Holding a valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher) and possessing proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Possessing good communication and customer service abilities, with a strong focus on building positive relationships with customers.
  • Able to handle and lift heavy items, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing logistical demands.
