Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our multi-disciplinary team at Optical Express in Lakeside, Thurrock.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills, with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a GOC registered optometrist.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an optometrist to provide high-quality eye care services to patients from our clinic in Lakeside, Thurrock Shopping Centre.

You will work alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, to deliver a diverse range of clinical eye care services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting pre and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients
  • Providing clinical support to our ophthalmologists
  • Carrying out Essential and Advanced Eye examinations for patients

Salary Information

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, with opportunities for salary enhancement through our Performance Pay scheme.

We also offer a range of benefits, including 33 days annual leave, pension scheme, private healthcare, paid professional fees, indemnity coverage, and access to CET courses.
