Job Summary

This is a temporary contract for up to 24 months. The role involves a 2-shift rotation with the following schedule:

  • Day shift Monday to Friday
  • Afternoon shift Monday to Friday 3pm - 11pm

Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Enhancing production quality by operating CNC machines to produce high-quality cylinder blocks
  • Contributing to safety by following health and safety processes and reporting hazards
  • Promoting team collaboration by communicating effectively and supporting peers
  • Driving continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Maintaining equipment and work area by performing routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks
  • Achieving production goals by operating manual and automated equipment efficiently
  • Ensuring compliance by adhering to standard work and quality procedures
  • Engaging in personal development by completing required training and activities

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a strong foundation in mathematics and technical skills. Relevant vocational or technical training in CNC machining or engineering can enhance proficiency in operating CNC machines and understanding manufacturing processes.
