About the Organisation

Our client helps hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering, and fundraising.

They are now looking for a Senior Volunteering Development Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Benefits

You will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package, including an estimated salary of £38,908 - £43,004 per annum, with potential progression based on performance.

Other benefits include 25 days' holiday per year plus bank holidays, an extra day's holiday to be taken one week either side of your birthday, and access to a range of perks including pension contributions, staff arts club, and life assurance.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience developing and managing volunteer programmes
  • A strong understanding of health inequalities and experience in addressing diversity and inclusion
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and launch volunteer roles that address health challenges and foster a volunteer community reflective of the wider population
  • Engage with underrepresented groups to create a more inclusive and diverse volunteering network
  • Build relationships with community partners to support the development of volunteering initiatives
