We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary Alternative Provision in Burnley. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs in a secondary education setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide academic and pastoral support to students, promoting their educational and personal development.
- Utilise strong behaviour management skills to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective strategies to support students with diverse needs.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working in a secondary or alternative provision setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
