SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who wants to make a difference to children's education and development. The ideal candidate must have experience working with children who have additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Have a nurturing and calm approach in order to build relationships with children.
- Communicate with families/carers to provide feedback about children.
- Provide support to small groups and 1:1 support.
- Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions to meet the needs of the children.
- Work closely with the Class Teacher, SENCO and other professionals to enhance children's learning and development.
- Assist with classroom management and use good behaviour management strategies.
- Help to create a safe, fun and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- A good understanding of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Excellent Safeguarding knowledge.
