About the Role

Glasgow Life is seeking an Economic Analyst to provide a range of economic development functions, including data analysis, impact modelling, and policy research. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, working closely with colleagues to provide insights that help shape strategies and inform decision-making.

The Economic Analyst will be responsible for undertaking and contributing to a wide range of activities, including scenario planning, economic analysis, project appraisal, and business case development. They will also be expected to provide analysis and evaluation of information to support reporting, evidence-based recommendations, and service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Economics or a related discipline, and high-level presentation and communication skills in written and spoken English. They will also have experience in economic development data analysis, a working knowledge of econometrics and quantitative analysis, and proficiency in Excel.
