Job Title: Employability Tutor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employability Tutor to join our team at LT Selection. As an Employability Tutor, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering engaging teaching sessions that cater to the unique needs of adult learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-quality teaching sessions that inspire and motivate learners to reach their full potential.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify learner needs and tailor teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Deliver comprehensive Careers Information, Education, Advice, and Guidance (CIEAG) to support learners in achieving their goals.
  • Provide constructive feedback and assessments to help learners improve and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with sector-specific knowledge and best practices through continuous professional development.

Requirements:

  • Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/Cert ED or equivalent).
  • L3 Assessor Award or equivalent.
  • GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or FS Level 2.
  • IAG Level 2 or willingness to work towards obtaining it.
  • Proficient ICT skills.
  • Experience working with unemployed adults in an educational environment.
  • Ability to design and deliver innovative sessions focused on individual learner needs.
