About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineer to join our Asset Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading small teams in undertaking programmes of structural inspection and condition reporting of assets, liaising with our internal innovation team to identify opportunities to trial and test innovative techniques and technologies, and providing technical support in the production of work packages at optioneering, outline and detailed design phases of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead small teams in undertaking programmes of structural inspection and condition reporting of assets
  • Liaise with our internal innovation team to identify opportunities to trial and test innovative techniques and technologies
  • Provide technical support in the production of work packages at optioneering, outline and detailed design phases of projects
  • Act as Technical Lead to provide guidance, support and assurance across a range of teams and projects
  • Liaise with our clients to develop technical approaches and associated documentation for internal and external use
  • Support the efficient and timely delivery of projects
  • Maintain up-to-date technical and industry knowledge
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Civil and Structural Engineer who is able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and who is able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business. You will need to have a strong understanding of engineering design procedures and construction processes related to concrete, steel and masonry, and experience of inspections of civil / structural assets. You will also need to have a working knowledge of BS/EN standards and experience of utilising a relevant data acquisition / analysis software package.
