Our Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Electronics Service Technologist to join our team in Knaresborough working within our purpose-built on-site laboratory. You will be part of a cutting-edge electronics engineering company that operates in a privileged niche market sector.

Job Description

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Repairing and refurbishing light industrial electronic equipment down to component level.
  • Testing, calibration, and documenting AC-DC power supplies manufactured in-house.
  • Creating electronic documentation such as build instructions and repair procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous workplace experience in electronics.
  • A good understanding of basic analogue electronics and components.
  • Highly competent hand soldering and reworking skills, including small SMD components.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with basic test and measurement equipment.
  • Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
  • A 'continuous improvement' mindset.
