Job Overview

Department of Medical Physics & Biomedical Engineering

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Technologist to join our team in the Radiation Physics section of Medical Physics & Biomedical Engineering at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing radiation protection services to our clinical departments and external clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide radiation protection services to clinical departments and external clients
  • Assist with x-ray quality control surveys and personal dosimetry services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of radiation protection policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective radiation protection practices

Requirements

  • Hold an HND or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Be eligible and willing to complete a three-year training programme in Healthcare Science (specialising in Radiation Physics)
  • Have experience working in a radiation protection environment
  • Be able to work effectively in a team and communicate complex information to stakeholders
