About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at JP Medicals Recruitment. As a leading healthcare recruitment agency, we offer a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake clinical work in a highly specialized area, considering the risks associated with working with ionizing radiation and infection control.
- Assess patient referrals, manage care safely, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and scan patients.
- Perform image processing and produce results to the highest technical standards.
- Support the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist, PETCT Superintendent, and Lead Superintendent, and work collaboratively with other clinical colleagues to provide an efficient and effective service.
- Work within regulatory frameworks and follow all Local Rules and Standard Operating Procedures designed to ensure a safe working environment in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and associated regulations.
Requirements
- HCPC registration.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Experience in nuclear medicine or radiography is desirable, but not essential.
