Community Children's Support Liaison

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled support officer to join our team at Austin Fraser. This is a temporary role that involves working within a small team of PAs to provide comprehensive support to a nominated Director and broader assistance to other Directors and the Directorate Management Team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings, both internal and external, aligned with the assigned directorate to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor multiple inboxes, review emails, and flag urgent matters to guarantee timely responses and meet deadlines.
- Implement an efficient logging, monitoring, and tracking system to manage correspondence, tasks, and preparation for upcoming meetings.
- Pursue specific project work, including sensitive topics, either as task-based or ongoing projects.
- Liaise regularly with Heads of Services to maintain progress on projects and cases.
- Maintain a valid DBS certification (if not currently held, we can facilitate the process).
- Demonstrate understanding of key legislative requirements related to local authorities, children services, adult social care, economy, environment, and communities.
- Showcase experience in developing and utilizing process monitoring systems.
- Proven proficiency in IT software, particularly Microsoft packages covering Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
