About the Position

We are currently seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Walsall. This role involves working with a child who requires individualized support due to significant Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will work collaboratively with the school's staff to develop and implement strategies that address the child's SEMH needs.">
  • You will maintain accurate records of the child's progress and contribute to regular review meetings.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Education, or a related field.">
  • Proven experience working with children who have SEMH needs.">
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (registered to the update service) or willingness to apply for a new DBS check through Smile Education.">

Salary and Benefits
