Well-being Support Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Well-being Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students, helping them build emotional resilience and well-being.
- Assist students in developing coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.
- Help students develop social and emotional skills to thrive in the school environment.
- Work closely with teachers, special educational staff, and parents to create and implement individualised support plans.
- Encourage positive behaviour, self-confidence, and independence among students.
- Support students in managing their mental health needs and providing a safe, supportive space when required.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
- Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting young people.
- Ability to implement tailored support strategies and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in supporting students with SEN/SEMH or in a similar well-being or educational role is highly desirable.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £84-95 per day, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
