Job Description:

This SEN Learning Support Assistant role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to make a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEND in the classroom, using adapted teaching strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop educational activities for students with SEND
  • Help promote social interaction and engagement among students

Requirements:

  • Recognized Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS check and knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
