Autism Support Assistant Role

We are working with an inclusive school in Tower Hamlets who are looking for a caring and hardworking Autism Support Assistant, with previous experience supporting children with SEN.

Job Summary:
  • Full-time term time only Autism Support Assistant role
  • Work alongside qualified SEND professionals & Specialist Teachers
  • Ideal for an Aspiring Clinical/Educational Psychologist
  • Role paying £420-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology degree from a Top 20 UK University
  • Experience working with children with SEND is essential

Job Role:
  • Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis
  • Highly rewarding role giving back to children with ADHD, ASC or other SEND needs
  • Become a friendly and dependable face for Pupils throughout the school
  • Support students with autism in managing daily routines, including personal care, leisure activities, and educational tasks.
