Job Description
Marex Group plc is a leading global financial services provider seeking a skilled Market Conduct Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering second-line oversight of the Listed Derivatives Business activities across the Marex Group, ensuring we remain within stated risk appetites, maintain good conduct and drive positive customer outcomes.
About the Role
This is a critical role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and Compliance principles. The successful candidate will work closely with business teams, Compliance colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of Compliance policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with business groups to gather relevant information and manage, investigate and draft responses to listed derivative exchange regulatory enquiries, including audit programmes.
- Collaborate with all relevant Support Functions and the Business to implement new regulations in a robust and controlled manner.
- Review and advise on Compliance aspects of new product launches, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Legal and Compliance colleagues to address cross-jurisdictional compliance matters.
- Identify and escalate regulatory or reputational risks to management for resolution.
- Support compliance team members delivering Compliance reviews and approvals of new Business initiatives.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
Requirements:
- Prior Compliance advisory experience from a bank, brokerage or listed derivative exchange, of at least 2 years.
- Some knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Degree-educated or equivalent, with financial services industry qualifications preferable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
