We are seeking a highly motivated Education Programme Coordinator to join our team in Milton Keynes. As an Education Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering the Depaul Education programme in schools, colleges, and Pupil Referral Units across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the Depaul education programme in your region, effectively building long-term relationships with educational institutions to support their young people.
  • Deliver engaging workshops to children and young people aged 11-18 in various settings, including assemblies, classroom-based sessions, and small group work.
  • Design and prepare high-quality resources and workshops that meet the needs of children and young people with complex needs.
  • Collaborate with the national team to review and update programme content, ensuring it remains relevant and effective.
  • BUILD STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TO PROMOTE THE PROGRAMME AND GENERATE INCOME.
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote the programme and develop clear referral routes for young people into other services.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme activities, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all activities and keeping the database up-to-date.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Ability to work productively with children and young people, skilled at building rapport, managing behaviour, and addressing difficult topics appropriately.
  • Confidence to deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and training to large groups of children, young people, and adults, both in-person and virtually.
  • Experience of designing and developing high-quality educational resources, lesson plans, and workshops for children and young people.
  • Strong relationship management skills, able to build constructive partnerships with professionals and influence senior figures.
  • Demonstrable interest in issues facing children and young people growing up in the UK, particularly themes such as homelessness, healthy relationships, and risk-taking.

Depaul UK delivers a range of support and housing services for young people and adults at risk of homelessness, specialising in preventing homelessness and increasing resilience. Our organisation reaches from Newcastle to London, Greater Manchester, and Milton Keynes.

Salary and Benefits
