We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team at Premier Construction. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing contracts from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to project teams.
  • Assist with the development of proposals, tenders, and contracts, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of contracts, including contract terms, conditions, and amendments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, finance, and operations, to ensure that contracts are aligned with business objectives and strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to prevent or resolve them.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve contract management processes and procedures, ensuring that they are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, including contract terms, conditions, and amendments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel to site visits and attend meetings as required.
