Mechanical Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at PW Construction. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed within the agreed timeframe and budget.
  • Work closely with our procurement team to ensure the correct materials and labor are sourced and scheduled to meet project deadlines.
  • Design and implement quality assurance reviews to ensure designs meet client requirements.
  • Maintain and build relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor team performance, providing feedback and coaching to ensure company standards are met.
  • Review staff performance, attendance, and morale, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Industry-recognized Project Management certification.
  • HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of managing projects and building strong industry relationships.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and excellent communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and patience.
  • Forward thinking and a full driving license.
