Electrical Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join our team at Turner Lovell. As an Electrical Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage electrical site activities, including pre-mobilisation, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Develop and implement site establishment schedules, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, including site safety audits and weekly walk-around inspections.
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials and plant, and ensure that all site personnel hold the relevant competencies for their tasks.
  • Manage sub-contractor supervision, labour allocation, and site diary maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure that all variations are picked up in a timely fashion and that labour allocation sheets are completed by sub-contractors.
  • Produce short-term programmes in line with the master programme and mark up master programme each week.
  • Ensure that all statutory notices, schematics, and wall charts are in place on site in accordance with the project completion checklist.
Requirements:
  • Recognised electrical apprenticeship or trade certification, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of site management experience.
  • Experience in managing electrical design and build projects in excess of €5 million.
  • Strong computer abilities and proficiency in presentations, technical workshops, and meetings.
  • IOSH certificate in managing safety, IOSH certificate in environmental management, and general NEBOSH certificate are desirable but not essential.
