Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Support Care Assistant. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in various hospital settings, providing essential support and care to patients with diverse needs. You will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring patient dignity and respect are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patient conditions by taking vital signs and reporting any changes to nursing staff
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom
- Ensure patient comfort and dignity are maintained at all times
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 6 months' experience working in an acute hospital or hospice setting within the last 2 years. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
