Seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychology Specialist to join our team at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This Band 7/8a (development role) position offers the opportunity to work with service users on our low secure women's ward, providing specialist psychological services and contributing to staff training.

The successful candidate will be based at our Newsam Centre site, working within a trauma-informed approach to understanding service user presentations and risks. The post holder will conduct psychologically informed risk assessments and formulations alongside the MDT, supporting staff through case discussions and contributing to staff training.

The salary for this position is £46,148 - £60,504 per annum, and we provide sponsorship for registered healthcare practitioner roles only. The Trust requires applicants to meet Home Office requirements for a visa.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide specialist psychological services to staff and service users on the low secure women's ward;
  • Joint working with nursing teams and allied health professionals to scaffold and model low-level psychological interventions;
  • Conducting psychologically informed risk assessments and formulations alongside the MDT;
