Role Overview
The Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Specialist Psychological Therapist to join their team in delivering CBSP therapy to individuals at risk of suicide. As a key member of the team, you will conduct highly specialist psychological assessments and therapies within the context of a clinical trial.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide cognitive-behavioural approaches to clients with severe mental health problems, including those at risk of suicide.
- To contribute to the provision of research team services and fulfill research priorities and objectives.
Requirements
- Postgraduate/Doctorate-level training in applied psychology (Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychology) as approved by the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Registered with HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist or BABCP accreditation as a CBT therapist.
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of £42,058 - £83,936 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits such as 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, excellent pension scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, and wellbeing programme. The role also includes time enhancements for unsociable hours worked.
