About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Admissions and Customer Service Officer to join our Student Admissions Team at Gateshead College. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our prospective students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service and support to prospective students, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with customers, providing information, advice, and guidance on our courses and services.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of admissions services and support.
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in functional skills (literacy and numeracy).
  • Hold or be working towards an IT qualification at least Level 2 or equivalent experience.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject area or significant relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate a positive approach to personal development and evidence of continuous updating of skills and knowledge.
