Public Health Nurse Leader

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a defined population/caseload, leading the delivery and organization of the public health program, and delivering the nursing component of the Healthy Wales Child Programme to a 0-5 age population within a defined area.
You will work in a community setting, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care offered to families and external organizations, with particular attention to safeguarding children. Additionally, you will contribute to the public health role in line with government public health initiatives and within the Healthy Child Wales Programme.
The estimated salary for this role is £32,000 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
As a Public Health Nurse Leader, you will have professional responsibility for a defined population/caseload and lead the delivery & organisation of the public health program. Delivering the nursing component of the Healthy Wales Child Programme to a 0-5 age population within a defined area.
You will based within the community setting, the practitioner is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care offered to families and external organisations, with particular attention to safeguarding children.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must hold a degree or equivalent in Health Visiting with current NMC registration. Student SCPHN who are due to qualify this year may apply for this post.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effective mentoring abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously and under pressure. You should also possess proven skills in motivating and influencing others, leadership skills, and basic IT skills to include WORD and email.
