We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Hilton Newcastle. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of public areas, managing guest requests, and replenishing guest amenities.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure cleanliness of public areas
- Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms
- Vacuum rooms and corridors
- Change and replenish bed linen, towels, and guest amenities
- Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
- Restock and maintain trolley on a daily basis
- Be environmentally aware and dispose of waste accordingly
- Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage master keys and check public areas and toilets
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
- Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards and ability to work on their own or in teams
- Hotel experience and experience in a similar position are advantageous
