Consultant Adult Psychiatrist with Community Focus

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Adult Psychiatrist to join our Primary Care Liaison Service in Wiltshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical leadership and work closely with our Specialty Doctor to deliver high-quality care to patients in North, West, and East Wiltshire.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring a safe and efficient service.
- Liaise and work closely with the Intensive Service, Community Mental Health Team, and Primary Care to deliver seamless care pathways.
- Attend weekly interface meetings with PCLS, CMHTs, Primary Care Psychology, and North Wiltshire Intensive Service to ensure effective collaboration.
- Work closely with the PCLS Manager to ensure a high-quality service that meets the needs of our patients.
- Provide clinical supervision and management supervision for doctors reporting to you.
- Supervise medical staff providing input into the service and actively participate in clinical supervision.
- Collaborate with Recovery, Intensive, and Inpatient Services to facilitate transitions through the care pathway.
- Participate in the maintenance, monitoring, and evaluation of service-specific performance indicators and targets.
- Train and supervise junior medical staff, conducting medical and MDT teaching and supervision.
- Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives to drive excellence in our service.
