Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about promoting a safety-first culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust health and safety strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. They will also work closely with our operational teams to identify and mitigate risks, promote a positive safety culture, and provide training and support to staff.

About the Role
  • Estimated salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
  • Location: Russell Taylor Group Ltd (Manufacturing/ Warehouse/ Factory environment)
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety policy, including risk assessments and method statements
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Work closely with operational teams to identify and mitigate risks, and promote a positive safety culture
Requirements
  • Nebosh or equivalent qualification essential
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Firm but personable attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driving licence preferred
