Theatre Support NVQ Standards Verifier Job Description

As a Senior NVQ Verifier for Theatre Support, you will play a critical role in ensuring that centres deliver competence-based qualifications that meet national occupational standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake sampling of learner work to verify that assessment outcomes and internal verification processes meet national occupational standards.
  2. Provide sector-specific support, advice, and guidance to centres.
  3. Produce reports on sampling undertaken, outcomes reached, and support provided.
  4. Recommend limited certification, certification deferral, or registration deferral where necessary.
  5. Develop targeted actions for centres to address any issues.
  6. Support centres in implementing identified actions.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in delivering and assessing NVQs at level 1-3.
  • Hold D32/D33 or A1 qualifications, and hold/be working towards the V1 or the Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the field of assessment and delivery of vocational qualifications.
