Medical Clinical Associate

MCG Healthcare invites applications for a Medical Clinical Associate to join our healthcare team.
Salary Details:
The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, based on the candidate's experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive assessments for asthma and COPD reviews will be conducted by the successful candidate.
- Diabetes and multi-morbidity reviews will require providing high-quality care for patients with complex conditions.
- Gynaecological services will include performing coil checks, removals, insertions, and replacements.
- Contraception and menopause management services will provide expert advice and monitoring.
- Vaccination and travel health services will ensure patient safety, offering essential vaccinations and travel advice.
- Routine immunisations and INR monitoring will be conducted by the successful candidate.
- Injections and minor surgery assistance will be safely administered, including assisting GPs with minor procedures.
- Blood pressure measurement and wound care services will be provided by the selected candidate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Registered Nurse qualification and relevant clinical experience are required.
- Familiarity with asthma, COPD, diabetes, and multi-morbidity management protocols is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Valid NMC registration and up-to-date knowledge of clinical guidelines are mandatory.
