Theatre Practitioner Role

At Ramsay Health Care UK, we strive to deliver exceptional patient care throughout the perioperative environment. As a Registered Theatre Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality clinical outcomes.
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate practitioner with experience in one or two of the following disciplines: Scrub or Anaesthetics and Recovery. A strong background in elective Orthopaedics and/or elective Ophthalmology is essential for this role.
In this position, you will have access to the Ramsay Academy, where you can gain your Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) and develop your career across our network of independent hospitals across the UK. You will be part of a supportive team that values your skills and expertise.
The Cherwell Hospital, located in Banbury, offers a 40-bed inpatient unit and day-case facility predominantly specialising in Orthopaedic and Ophthalmology Surgery. Our state-of-the-art facilities include three laminar air flow theatres and a newly built Ophthalmology suite housing a Surgicube.
Job Requirements
- NMC/HCPC registration
- Previous Orthopaedic and/or Ophthalmic Scrub and/or Anaesthetics & Recovery experience
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) is desirable but not essential
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
- A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focus service
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrated computer skills
Compensation and Benefits
- An estimated salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
