About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at TimePlan Education. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students aged 11-19, across the curriculum and in all areas of need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with individuals and groups, under the direction of the teacher, to support learning and promote independence.
  • Contribute to planning and evaluation of lessons within a framework set by the teacher.
  • Support teachers to assess student needs and progress, and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support learning.
  • Liaise with staff and other relevant professionals to provide information about students as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Development Plans for students and attend and contribute to reviews.
  • Support transition and the role of parents/carers in students' learning.

Requirements:

  • Passion for education and ideally looking to teach in the near future.
  • Dynamic, experienced, and motivated graduate with a strong academic background.
  • Ability to work with students of varying abilities and needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
