Job Description

Location: East Sussex

Salary: £83.85 - £90 per day

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to pupils with mental health challenges and behavioural difficulties.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment where students can thrive emotionally and academically.
  • Help pupils develop coping strategies, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour.
  • Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement tailored support plans for each student.
  • Assist in maintaining a structured classroom setting to ensure effective learning.
Requirements:
  • A resilient, patient, and understanding nature.
  • Experience working with children or young people facing mental health challenges and challenging behaviour is desirable.
  • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday).
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
