Job Summary
The Avenue Surgery is seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and adhere to practice guidelines and protocols.
- Support the clinical team in the provision and delivery of quality health and care services.
- Undertake tasks such as phlebotomy, processing patient samples, and measuring blood pressure.
- Prepare and maintain environments and equipment for patient care interventions.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions for improvement.
Requirements
- Qualified to NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience of working within a nursing or clinical team.
