Orthopaedic Theatre Nurse Opportunity in Salisbury

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join our Theatre team at New Hall Hospital in Salisbury.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to support us on our journey of delivering high-quality clinical outcomes. You will work closely with our team of surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless theatre operations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care and support during orthopaedic surgeries, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe and efficient theatre environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care and develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Your Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
- Ophthalmology experience would be desirable but not essential
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable but not essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
