Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support the Dame in the pastoral care of students and the day-to-day running of the House. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to work, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop positive relationships with new pupils and induct them into the ways of the house.
  • Supervise laundry, Messing Teas, and other domestic duties.
  • Assist the Dame with the general health and wellbeing of pupils in College.
  • Escort pupils to routine appointments and respond to medical emergencies.
  • Support the Dame and House Master at functions and events.
  • Undertake administration tasks as required and liaise with central school teams.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working in a pastoral role for children or young adults.
  • Awareness of the Children's Act and Safeguarding and Child Protection.
  • First Aid or relevant medical training.
  • A clean and valid driving license.
