About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Dame's Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional care and support to our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop positive relationships with students, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Supervise laundry and ensure the cleanliness of student rooms.
  • Assist the Dame with the general health and wellbeing of pupils, liaising with medical staff as necessary.
  • Escort students to medical appointments and provide support during emergencies.
  • Support the Dame and House Master at events and functions.
  • Undertake administrative tasks, including communication with central teams.
  • Ensure the College's child protection procedures are adhered to at all times.

Requirements

  • Flexible approach to work and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work using your own initiative and take direction from the Dame and House Master.
  • Previous experience of working in a pastoral role, preferably with children or young adults.
  • First Aid or relevant medical training.
  • A clean and valid driving license.
