Job Overview
At RASASC Cheshire and Merseyside, we are seeking a highly skilled Family Independent Sexual Violence Advisor to join our team in Chester and Halton. As an ISVA, you will play a vital role in providing trauma-informed support to clients throughout the criminal justice system process.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering survivor-centered support to individuals who have experienced recent or past abuse. This will involve working closely with clients to understand their needs and developing personalized plans to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to clients, including advocacy, crisis intervention, and emotional support
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including police, courts, and other service providers
- Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and best practices in the field of sexual violence support

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience working with survivors of sexual violence or similar populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong knowledge of local resources and services related to sexual violence support

We offer a competitive salary of £24,887 increasing to £26,887 after qualifying period, depending on experience.
