About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery
  • Administer and order medication, review and update resident care plans, and liaise with GP's and district nursing teams
  • Support with risk assessments, resident reviews, and family liaison
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

About You

We are looking for an individual with a passion for delivering exceptional care and support. You will have a strong background in health and social care, with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. Previous experience in a residential care setting is essential, along with proven team leadership skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
