Position Overview

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is in search of dedicated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our Bank team. Our ideal candidates will enhance our existing skilled workforce, committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants with at least 12 months of experience in a hospital, residential, or care home environment. You will work collaboratively across various wards and departments as part of a multi-disciplinary team, demonstrating our Trust's CARE values.

The Bank offers a range of shifts, providing flexibility to help maintain a healthy work-life balance, including early, late, long day, and night shifts.

Training & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Literacy Level 1 or equivalent
  • Numeracy Level 1 or equivalent

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Health or Health and Social Care
  • ESOL Level 2 or equivalent (if English is not your first language)

Experience & Knowledge

Essential:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • A minimum of 12 months of care experience

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in Health/Health and Social Care
  • Understanding of NHS/Social Care systems

Skills & Abilities

Essential:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
