Job Title: Land Manager

We are seeking a skilled Land Manager to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing land opportunities and instructing consultants/development teams regarding legal, planning, development, and commercial constraints of any proposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and agree heads of terms and work with our external panel solicitors to negotiate relevant land contracts.
  • Appoint, brief, and manage external architects and engineers to prepare feasibility layouts that are efficient and deliverable.
  • Work with our estimators to develop and maintain viability appraisals.
  • Scope out and commission relevant surveys and reports to inform due diligence processes and feed into proposed planning applications.
  • Feed into/prepare approval papers, liaising with relevant departments within the BU and across the Group.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Support other site teams such as planners, surveyors, and operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Computer literate.
  • Professional manner.
  • Experience in dealing with confidential and legal documents.
  • Relevant qualifications desirable.
